Last Thursday, feig put on a reflective prayer space in the cathedral, and asked us to join in and help them out a bit. we didn't actually do much, but Steve Clark, the pioneer minister for the community put on a fantastic display of creative inspiration, reflecting on the four elements - earth, fire, water and air - to bring together a really great space for prayer.
The whole thing had a deep sense of letting go of the things that build defences or barriers between our relationship with God and others, and the whole journey was brilliantly thought out. feig are gonna host these 'pause' events in the Gloucester's amazing cathedral every couple of months or so, and we as a 24-7 prayer community are gonna be collaborating with them a bit in future ones.
Looking forward it.
