it was good to pray together with Steve, (youth diocesan officer) and michelle (gloucester yfc) this morning. we reflected on our different situations and what God seems to be doing amongst youth stuff in Gloucester.
its funny how our stories linked together with similar hurdles, and encouragements.
as we prayed, we reflected on our Father in heaven, who is real and alive, without whom, we wouldn't do anything of any worth. I thought the following reflections were pretty cool
Lord God, you can calm the storm,
in darkness, you can bring light
in our frailty, you can bring strength
in our worry, you can bring peace
in our blindness, you can give us sight,
in our loneliness, you can bring comfort,
when we are lost, you can bring direction.
in our ignorance, you can bring knowledge,
when we lack insight, you can give wisdom,
in our cloudy minds, you can bring clarity,
